We started Ameco Tech because the moment a child walks in and stops, wide-eyed, is worth building for. Everything we engineer exists to create that moment — and to keep it alive, day after day.

Our Story

AMECO TECH started with a belief: a playground shouldn't just be lit, it should be felt. The wonder a child carries home is what fills a venue, and we wanted to build that feeling on purpose.

We began in indoor playgrounds, the most demanding place light can live — long hours, constant movement, vibration, and thousands of small hands. That taught us something simple: wonder only counts if it lasts. A magical moment that flickers out in a month isn't magic, it's a callout.

So we engineer for both. Behind every color scene and light show is careful work nobody is meant to notice — power planning, protected profiles, clean cabling, and software control — all of it there so the feeling holds up to years of everyday use.

Based in Belgium, we work with people who want their space to do more than function. Whether it's an entrance, a play zone, an event moment, or a full interactive show, our goal is the same: create something visitors remember, and make sure it greets them just as brightly on day one thousand as on day one.

Henri Vanhuynegem

Henri Vanhuynegem

Co-Founder, CEO, CTO

Henri started AMECO TECH because he believes a space should make people feel something — and that the technology making it happen should disappear into the background, never breaking the spell.

He holds a Master's degree in Computer & Embedded Systems Engineering from TU Delft. That background in embedded systems and low-level engineering is what lets the wonder stay reliable: precise LED control, solid power design, and hardware built to run for years.

The first installations were built for indoor playgrounds, where the experience has to dazzle thousands of kids and survive every one of them. That shaped how he still works today: start with the feeling you want to create, then engineer relentlessly to make sure it lasts.

Lander Geyskens

Co-Founder, CFO

Lander co-founded AMECO TECH alongside Henri to make sure that wonder also makes sense as a business — for us and, just as much, for the clients who invest in it.

He holds an MBA from the University of Hasselt, giving him a strong foundation in business development, operations, and client relationships. His role makes sure every project is not only magical to experience, but commercially sound and delivered with clear, honest communication.

Together, Henri and Lander pair engineering depth with business clarity — so the experiences we build are unforgettable to visitors, dependable for owners, and worth every euro they cost.
