Our Story

AMECO TECH started from a simple idea: LED installations should not only look impressive, they should also be reliable, maintainable, and built for real-world use.

Our work began with custom LED solutions for indoor playgrounds, where lighting has to survive daily use, long opening hours, movement, vibration, and demanding environments. That first experience shaped the way we think: every installation should be designed with both the visual result and the technical reliability in mind.

We combine LED hardware, controllers, power distribution, installation design, and software control into complete lighting systems. Instead of offering a standard strip of LEDs, we look at the space, the use case, the mounting method, the power requirements, and the long-term serviceability.

AMECO TECH is based in Belgium and works with clients who want lighting that does more than illuminate. Whether it is an entrance, a play area, an event moment, or a full interactive light show, our goal is to create lighting that adds atmosphere, identity, and energy to a space.

Henri Vanhuynegem

Co-Founder, CEO, CTO

Henri founded AMECO TECH with the goal of making professional LED installations more reliable, more flexible, and more exciting for commercial spaces.

He holds a Master's degree in Computer & Embedded Systems Engineering from TU Delft. That background in embedded systems and low-level engineering directly shapes how AMECO TECH approaches LED control, power design, and hardware integration.

The first AMECO TECH installations were developed for indoor playground environments, where lighting systems need to handle daily use while creating a memorable experience for visitors. That practical experience continues to guide the company's approach: start with the real problem, design carefully, test thoroughly, and build something that lasts.

Lander Geyskens

Co-Founder, CFO

Lander co-founded AMECO TECH alongside Henri, bringing the business and strategic side to the company's foundation.

He holds an MBA from the University of Hasselt, giving him a strong foundation in business development, operations, and client relationships. His role ensures that every project is not only technically well-executed, but also commercially sound and delivered with clear communication.

Together, Henri and Lander combine engineering depth with business clarity, building LED solutions that are visually impactful, technically reliable, and built around what clients actually need.
